clubbing anyone?

my most recent dream consisted of going to a club. it was rather strange, but then again so is every other dream i've had. before heading to the club, i was with my parents heading to visit my cousin, Angie. It was her son's bday party and so we were driving up these hills. i felt really confused because we went to pick up some lady at an apartment and then we drove to this family party. then next thing i know kathee comes and picks me up from the fam party.

i didn't know where we were going, but i followed along anyways. suddenly she stops in front of a building and there's a huge line outside. we get out of the car and pass up all the people in line and just walk right in. (i figured that's cuz kathee's cool like that.) inside it's like a club. kathee and i stroll in and the first thing we do is head for the bar. kathee asks me why i'm wearing jeans and i notice that i'm not at all in clubbing attire. i'm wearing worn out jeans with a random t-shirt. i disregard it and continue walking. then at the bar, to my surprise kay turns around with 2 glasses of something in her hand. she hands one to kathee and then asks if i want one. i think about taking the cup then i say, "no, it's cool. i'll be the designated driver." that's when they start drinking up. i kinda just stood there while everyone is dancing.

suddenly the atmosphere changes and people start talking about a competition. we start separating into groups. a bunch of people on one side and the rest on the other. that's when i lost kathee and kay. it became one of those really bad futuristic movies where everyone is like a drone wearing the same thing. there are glowsticks everywhere and it's dark. i head over to the left, and i notice that i'm still wearing my jeans and t-shirt. everyone starts chatting saying we can beat the other team cuz we got a bunch of smart people. i look around and see some old high school friends who everyone associated as smart (you know those honors/AP kids that headed off to stanford and berkley) then some guy up in the corner asks a question. a bunch of people start raising their hands and he picks a few. apparently my team got the question right. then the guy asks another question and i hear this boy on the other team shouting, "pick me, i know the answer!" he has his hand raised up really high. he gets picked and says the correct answer, but instead of awarding that team a point, he gets to move over to my team. turns out the boy is erwin. he happily jumps over to our team.

at this point i'm even more confused and the crowd starts to get restless so i decided to leave. i ran outside and i found myself in a huge movie theater. i start running through passing different movie room. i pass theaters 3, 4, 5 and then i stop at 7. all the theaters are chain locked. but 7 opens. it's dark inside and i can't see anyone. i get scared so i leave. then there are huge crowds outside. i start making my way through them because i see kathee in the distance. i try to catch up, but people kept getting in my way. i continue to see old friends even back from elementary school and it's still somewhat dark and futuristic like. however i never catch up to kathee because that's when i woke up. hmm...am i cluttering up my past and present? i don't know, but apparently i'm just trying to chase kathee down. haha, ok that's all for now. peace out fellow dreamers! :)
